Position Overview
Drive the development of Industrial Excellence initiatives within Fabrication facilities throughout North America, focusing on achieving divisional KPIs and optimizing the potential of personnel, systems, equipment, and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment / Quality
Promote a Safety-First culture and ensure adherence to Aliaxis Divisional & Global Safety standards.Facilitate the implementation of the Divisional HS&E strategy, ensuring accountability at the site level and reporting on progress and initiatives.Manufacturing Excellence
Lead the creation and execution of a Manufacturing Excellence roadmap across North America, providing standardized solutions for all Fabrication facilities.Assist in developing a divisional organizational structure to ensure the delivery of Manufacturing Excellence across regions, meeting alignment, discipline, and financial targets.Establish performance indicators to manage, analyze, and continuously enhance production processes.Support business units in achieving manufacturing excellence KPIs and annual financial goals.Oversee the implementation of North American projects and initiatives through collaboration with key stakeholders.Drive improvements in manufacturing processes.Support the development and execution of a standardized management system.Centralize, standardize, and disseminate best practices across fabrication facilities.People Development
Contribute to the objective of creating a Best Place to Work.Implement manufacturing excellence goals across plants to achieve performance, financial, and employee development objectives.Mentor and develop Manufacturing Excellence leaders to enhance operational excellence on the shop floor and eliminate barriers for employees to achieve measurable goals.Engage in Gemba walks and provide coaching on 5S, standard work, visual management, continuous improvement, and other lean methodologies.Foster a culture of change leadership by addressing individual mindsets.Support the planning, execution, and sustainability of Kaizen and Lean manufacturing events within value stream teams.Monitor and report on program progress, maintaining communication with plant leadership.Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.LEAN Six Sigma certification is advantageous.10-15 years of demonstrated experience in supporting or leading manufacturing sites or teams, with a focus on manufacturing excellence projects and proven process improvement success.Experience leading teams in a performance management environment across various operational sites.Strong project management skills.Comprehensive understanding of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and Financial acumen.Aliaxis is committed to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and will work with qualified applicants to provide suitable accommodations that consider their accessibility needs.
