Job Summary:

The Kitter and Assembler will report to the Supervisor, Kitting/Assembly, and perform various production and assembly duties throughout the department. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock workstations with necessary materials and supplies
  • Review work orders to ensure accurate completion
  • Report material shortages to the production team
  • Mark, record, and report defects to ensure quality control
  • Operate measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements
  • Read assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare for work
  • Assemble parts and components using hand and power tools
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Perform other kitting and assembly duties as required

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Combinations of education and experience may also be considered
