Client Services Account Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Client Services Account Representative at Long & McQuade Limited. As a key member of our account services team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Process credit applications and approvals for term and balance forward accounts, as well as consumer and commercial account rentals
  • Assist customers with inquiries about their accounts and rents, providing clear and concise information
  • Locate new contact information for credit customers and update records accordingly
  • Perform sundry account maintenance tasks, including registration of accounts through Personal Property Registry
  • Work with Equifax reports and their reporting criteria to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Collaborate with the Small Claims Courts system to resolve any disputes or issues
  • Provide regular status reports to the Store Manager and Account Services Regional Manager
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our company's policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service, both in-store and over the phone
  • Thorough organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift and carry large boxes, if required
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new software
  • Experience with consumer credit and collections an asset
