Role Overview

The Lenovo Solutions and Services Group (SSG) consolidates all of Lenovo's IT solutions and services across various sectors, including personal computing, infrastructure, and specialized verticals. By offering a unified global solution under the TruScale brand, we enable our clients to realize their visions and drive value.

As a Senior Technical Support Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to assist enterprise clients in addressing complex technical challenges that go beyond standard support levels. You will deliver exceptional technical assistance through various communication channels, accurately diagnosing issues within our clients' product environments, which may include notebooks, desktops, and tablets. Additionally, you will manage the logistics of parts and service dispatch as required.

This role will initially be a full-time supplemental position for a specified period, during which your performance will be assessed by the management team. Following this evaluation, a decision will be made regarding your transition to a full-time regular position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical inquiries, and offering guidance.
  • Effectively communicate with end-users, simplifying complex technical information to match their understanding.
  • Collaborate with Level 2 engineers and technical account managers to address escalated customer issues.
  • Offer constructive feedback on recurring problems to team members and relevant engineering teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing technical role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new and challenging technologies.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
