About the Role

Momentum Developmental Support Corporation is seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and daily living support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention services to clients in need
  • Resolve conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Assist clients with special needs with daily living tasks
  • Evaluate work environments to ensure a safe and healthy space for clients
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
