About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at La Casa Ouzeria Restaurant (1999) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Washing and Loading: Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware, and load and unload buspans and trays.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation tasks such as portioning and wrapping foods, and washing and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Stocking and Inventory: Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Garbage and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all recycling is properly sorted and disposed of.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
  • Experience: We will provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
  • Certifications: A Food Safety Certificate is an asset, but not required.
Work Environment

As a member of our kitchen team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a team environment.
