Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Document Management Specialist who excels in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage a variety of documentation tasks, ranging from administrative duties to strategic oversight. This role is essential for supporting our engineering and management teams in fulfilling their project commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with client document control and submission standards while integrating them with Hitachi practices.
  • Utilize Hitachi's Product Data Management (PDM) tools, such as Teamcenter, to:
    • Facilitate document approvals within established workflows.
    • Assist in organizing project documentation by creating planned parts and documents.
    • Generate transmittals to document submissions to and from clients.
    • Provide guidance to users on the PDM tools and processes.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in ACONEX.
  • Review and format documents in Microsoft Word and Excel to ensure adherence to project-specific templates and revision standards, including creating PDFs with tracked changes.

Essential Skills

  • Quick learner with the ability to apply insights effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of ACONEX is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with colleagues across various departments.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Motivated and results-oriented with a focus on process improvement.
