Behaviour Interactive Inc. is seeking a talented Technical Artist to enhance our creative team. As a part of our innovative environment, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aspects of our upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the art director and environment artists to identify and develop solutions for content creation challenges.
- Transform prototype assets into production-ready content utilizing Unreal Engine.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedural content generation techniques and workflows.
- Provide guidance and education to artists on procedural content generation practices.
- Communicate technical specifications for Unreal Engine and procedural systems to align with our game development objectives.
- Establish technical standards and production methodologies to ensure visual quality and performance benchmarks are met.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in designing complex procedural content creation pipelines with a focus on user-friendly workflows.
- Experienced in using procedural content creation tools such as Houdini within Unreal Engine.
- A creative and collaborative problem solver with a flexible approach.
- Familiarity with automation processes for content and asset management.
- Understanding of performance optimization and GPU rendering for real-time content, lighting, and materials.
- Experience in developing workflows and tools throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Skilled in creating shaders for diverse assets, including characters.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
