At Pixomondo, we're seeking a talented Environment Artist to join our team of creatives. As a key member of our Virtual Production department, you'll be responsible for developing setups for various stages of production in 3D, solving potential problems, and creating photo-realistic and stylized environments in 3D and 2D.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop 3D setups for different stages of production
  • Create photo-realistic and stylized environments in 3D and 2D
  • Model, texture, and light objects, environments, or full scenes
  • Collaborate with CG and Environment Supervisors and Production to find creative and technical solutions
  • Deliver high-quality work within established project targets and company standards

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with high-end broadcast or feature film projects
  • Thorough understanding of 3D and 2.5D VFX processes and production pipelines
  • Good understanding of compositing
  • Experience working with shoot data, including photographic and reference data, HDRIs, photogrammetry, and Lidar
  • Proven experience developing photo-real environments
  • Experience with procedural city generation and scattering tools an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of the natural world (geology, geography, and meteorology) and architecture (design and engineering)
  • Knowledge of Maya, Houdini, and Unreal Engine
