Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environment Artist to join our team. As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating photo-realistic and stylized environments in 3D and 2D. This will involve developing setups for different stages of production, solving potential problems, and working closely with the CG and Environment Supervisors and Production to find creative and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D environments and solve potential problems
  • Create photo-realistic and stylized environments in 3D and 2D
  • Work closely with the CG and Environment Supervisors and Production to find creative and technical solutions
  • Combine talents in Photoshop, Clarisse, Maya, and Nuke to produce 3D and 2D digital environments

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar role
  • Experience modeling, texturing, layout, lighting, and compositing for high-end broadcast or feature film projects
  • Thorough understanding of 3D and 2.5D VFX processes and production pipelines
  • Good understanding of compositing
  • Experience working with shoot data, including photographic and reference data, HDRIs, photogrammetry, and Lidar
  • Proven experience developing photo-real environments
  • Experience with procedural city generation and scattering tools an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the natural world (geology, geography, and meteorology) and architecture (design and engineering)
  • Knowledge of Maya, Houdini, and Unreal Engine

Benefits:
