Vice President, Finance Operations Leader

We are seeking a seasoned finance executive to lead our finance shared services function at People Corporation. As Vice President, Finance Shared Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Finance Shared Services Leadership: Oversee the finance shared services function across the organization, providing thought leadership and effective prioritization of deliverables.
- Operational Finance Processes: Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop and implement operational finance processes and procedures that align with operational goals and objectives.
- Month-End Close Process: Lead the month-end close process for the Company, enabling timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Accounting and Compliance: Review and provide guidance on complex accounting issues, account reconciliations, and other month-end close deliverables, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with external auditors during audits, and work with the acquisition onboarding team and business unit finance teams on integration of acquired companies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Accounting and Finance Expertise: Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, with advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively build and motivate teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver change supporting the Company's priorities.
- Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools, with experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in various accounting and finance roles of increasing responsibility and complexity, with a strong track record of leadership and achievement.
