Overview:

The Senior Manager will oversee valuation and litigation support engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. This role requires a strong background in accounting and valuation, along with leadership capabilities to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan engagements by preparing and reviewing budgets, identifying key issues, and assigning tasks to team members.
  • Monitor budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to project expectations.
  • Maintain communication with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on project status.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of financial models and reports, particularly in litigation contexts.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and assist in their professional development.
  • Maintain an organized Job Status List and communicate updates to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly billings and review actual invoices.
  • Update schedules and reports as needed to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Develop business proposals and presentations for current and prospective clients.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and interns, conducting performance reviews as necessary.
  • Meet billable hour targets and engage in business development initiatives.
  • Continuously assess and improve internal processes and templates.
  • Implement division Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and report on key performance indicators to management.

Qualifications:

  • CPA and CBV designations are required.
  • CFF or CFE designations are advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of experience in team management.
  • 4-7 years of experience in valuations and litigation support.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, auditing, and taxation.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and valuation analysis.
  • Experience in matrimonial and estate litigation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
