Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker provides direct patient care and support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community health centers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment
  • Perform personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Transport patients between care facilities
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
Requirements:
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
