Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community care facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment
  • Perform personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Transport patients between care facilities and provide wheelchair or stretcher assistance
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and provide support
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: Experience an asset
