The role is based in a server farm setting, providing a dynamic and challenging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and facilitate access to computer networks
  • Install and configure software applications
  • Set up and maintain web server hardware and software
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated equipment
  • Monitor and assess the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Evaluate and deploy computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users
  • Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware
  • Conduct routine network operations and maintain accurate control records
  • Perform data backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Establish local area networks and internet connections
  • Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server performance
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary
  • Research and apply metadata to websites and ensure proper registration with search engines
  • Assist website visitors and designers with inquiries and support
  • Execute web server backup and recovery tasks
