About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our Milling team at Miller Paving Atlantic. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our milling machines and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Milling Machine Operator on highway and private contracts, as well as other heavy equipment operators in road construction operations.
  • Clean, service, and lubricate equipment, and perform minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, complete maintenance records, and daily equipment logs to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication devices to maintain effective communication with the crew.
  • Lead by example in promoting a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, consultants, and the public.
