**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 license and clean abstract
- Experience on a milling or paving crew
- Ability to travel and work on weekends, when required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of grades: cross slops, super elevations, offset grades, swales

As a Milling Groundsperson, You Will:
We’re seeking a Groundsperson to work on our Milling team and be the secret ingredient in our recipe for success The oil that keeps our operation running smoothly, mixing, pouring, and paving the way to excellence. Embrace the heat, grit, and grind as you assist in the creation of building the roads of tomorrow.

You will assist the Milling Machine Operator on highway and private contracts as well as other heavy equipment operators in road construction operations. When you’re not assisting the milling machine operator, you will clean, service, and lubricate the equipment and perform minor repairs. Attention to detail will be essential when conducing pre-operational checks on equipment, completing maintenance records and daily equipment logs.

Strong communication will also be important as you operate two-way radios and other communication devices to ensure you are always in touch with the crew.
