Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Team in Guelph. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement effective care plans. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional assessment and treatment of patients in their homes and communities
  • Develop and maintain effective care plans in collaboration with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS)
  • Work with patients to set and achieve time-specific, measurable goals and outcomes
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Community Support Workers in the field
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Proven computer skills, including email, MS Word, and Outlook
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to participate in effective treatment programs
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • French language skills are an asset
