Job Summary

We are seeking a Co-op/Intern student to join our Assurance team for a 4-month term. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and assignments, including preparing and completing working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements. You will also have the chance to build positive working relationships with clients and effectively communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments
  • Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards
  • Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis

Requirements

  • Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
  • Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative to seek understanding
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
