About the Role
We are seeking a Co-op/Intern, Assurance Professional to join our Assurance team in Thunder Bay. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and assignments, including preparing and completing working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements. You will also have the opportunity to build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to their requests and suggestions.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments
- Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
- You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- You have proven leadership skills and can take initiative to seek understanding
- You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
