About the Role

BDO Canada is seeking a Co-op or Intern Student to join our Assurance team for a 4-month term. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills to real-world projects, working closely with our experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  1. Utilize your technical skills to carry out work projects and assignments, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
  2. Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements in accordance with regulatory standards.
  3. Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements, demonstrating attention to detail and analytical skills.
  4. Build positive working relationships with clients, responding to their requests and suggestions in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues, ensuring seamless collaboration.
