Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Peer Support Worker to join our team at FamilySmart. As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
  • Conduct criminal record checks as required.
  • Develop and maintain efficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills to convey information and provide support to clients.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Stay organized and flexible to adapt to changing program needs.
  • Initiate and maintain a high level of initiative to ensure program success.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Must reside in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Must be able to work 80 hours per month.
  • Must be fluent in English.
