Job Title: Peer Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Peer Support Worker to join our team at FamilySmart. As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
  • Conduct thorough criminal record checks and ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on efficient communication, judgment, and values-based decision-making.
  • Provide excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on client-centered care and flexibility.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, with a strong sense of initiative and organization.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work 80 hours per month.
  • Fluency in English is required.
