Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons 1964000 Ontario Inc. in Food Service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate for this position.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding pressure to meet customer demand.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving around the kitchen and dining area as needed.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as preparing and serving food, with minimal breaks.
