Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures for various projects, including industrial, mining, and energy sectors. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structures using structural analysis software
  • Prepare engineering documents, including design studies and preliminary and detailed engineering
  • Coordinate design activities with other disciplines, including mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Prepare estimates, technical specifications, and reports
  • Help with quality control of the work of technicians and drafters
  • Help prepare estimates, schedules, and budgets, as needed
  • Help plan, organize, and assess work
  • Help monitor site work, as required
  • Assist with site inspections and surveys
  • Perform other technical functions to support project delivery
  • Maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients or their representatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant equivalent training and experience
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of structural analysis software
  • Available to travel occasionally to client sites and offices
  • Asset: Experience in finite element calculations
  • Asset: Dynamic structural analysis
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French)
