About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Smith + Andersen. As a key member of our electrical engineering group, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage electrical engineering concepts and designs for various projects
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Review and manage electrical engineering deliverables, including reports, calculations, and drawings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a project management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable design is an asset
