Compensation and Benefits

Job Requirements
- At least five years of leadership and management experience, preferably in a non-profit or small business setting.
- Experience with grant writing, securing funding, and working with a Board of Directors or similar role.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in business, non-profit management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with government, Indigenous communities, and regulatory bodies is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Cranbrook business environment and community is an asset.
Responsibilities
The Executive Director will be responsible for leading staff development, fostering a positive workplace culture, and aligning strategic initiatives with the Chamber's vision. They will oversee daily operations, including marketing, events, HR, and finance. The role involves community engagement, building relationships, advocating for member needs, managing grant writing, and serving as a spokesperson, fundraiser, and relationship builder for the Chamber.
