INSURANCE ACCOUNT SPECIALIST (PERSONAL AND COMMERCIAL LINES)

Leap Recruitment Partners is collaborating with a leading general insurer in Canada, seeking an Insurance Account Specialist (Personal and Commercial Lines) to enhance their team.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8 Hour Shifts (8am-8pm EST)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 3 days in the office

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver exceptional service to clients and brokers by addressing billing inquiries via telephone in a professional and timely manner.


• Collaborate with brokers and underwriters to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.


• Serve as a Company Ambassador by efficiently directing inbound insurance and claims inquiries to the appropriate teams.


• Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients through both phone and electronic channels, ensuring clarity in resolving issues and explaining available programs/services.


• Assess and identify client needs, responding in a professional manner.


• Gather relevant information systematically to ensure seamless interactions with clients.


• Take ownership of client relationships through dedicated service and commitment to follow-up.

Required Qualifications:


• Prior experience in Customer Service, ideally within a call center environment.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.


• Quick adaptability to changing circumstances.


• Professional communication skills via telephone and email.


• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and various web-based applications.


• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and address client concerns.


• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.


• Capable of handling a high volume of calls daily.

Preferred Qualifications:


• 1-2 years of experience in a contact center role.


• Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.


• Flexibility regarding working hours is necessary.


• Previous customer service experience in a similar capacity.


• Bilingual proficiency in French is considered an asset.
