Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ordering parts from preferred vendors with a constant sense of urgency, confirming orders with vendors.
- Check in, tag, and distribute parts immediately upon receipt.
- Inspect all parts for damage and quality/accuracy.
- Distribute parts to parts bins.
- Return and re-order incorrect or damaged parts.
- Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary.
- Return warranty parts for refunds.
- Manage internal store and vehicle inventory.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role (Parts Coordinator, Service Technician, Inventory Control, etc.).
- Previous HVAC experience considered an asset.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Comfortable working in a blue-collar environment.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Previous knowledge of Maestro and/or Salesforce a strong asset.
