Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Summer Co-op to join our IT team. As a Data Analyst Summer Co-op, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and contributing to various IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to internal users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with system upgrades and installations, and contribute to various IT projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data quality concerns.
  • Develop and implement data cleansing strategies and methodologies to address identified data quality issues.
  • Document data quality issues, remediation steps, and outcomes for future reference and audit purposes.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track data quality metrics, monitor progress, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary Business Administration, Business Technology, Information Technology, or Computer Science program at a college or university.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including SQL and Python.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience working with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey data quality insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
