Principal Animation Producer at 2K

2K is on the lookout for a seasoned Principal Animation Producer to work in close partnership with diverse teams dedicated to Gameplay and Technical Animation advancements. The ideal candidate should have a profound understanding of AAA console production and content workflows. Reporting to a Senior Producer and collaborating with the Animation Director, you will be instrumental in shaping strategies, processes, and systems for the animation division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Animation Director and Leads to create and oversee workflows.
  • Guide and mentor producers, leads, and individual contributors under your direction.
  • Facilitate the review process and supervise deliveries to uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with external partners and co-development teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Assist in managing external collaborators and contractors associated with the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

The successful applicant will be an effective communicator with the capability to lead teams in delivering top-notch animation. Essential qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years of experience in AAA game production.
  • Expertise in JIRA, Excel, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Prior experience with outsourcing and trends in interactive storytelling.
