We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of School to join our team at Alberta Accredited International Schools. As a leader in education, you will be responsible for guiding our school community towards academic excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional leadership that supports student success and achievement
- Lead and manage a team of educators to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices
- Develop and implement school policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement
- Manage school resources and budget to ensure efficient use of resources and achieve strategic goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with K-12 experience
- Experience as a Principal or Assistant Principal in a multicultural and multi-linguistic community
- Experience with Alberta curriculum or eligibility to meet Alberta teacher and leadership certification standards
- International school experience an asset
- Desirable but not essential knowledge of Spanish
