Position Overview
Join Canadian Blood Services as a Brand Specialist within our Integrated Marketing team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative and expanding our community outreach.

Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid setting, requiring a minimum of 40% on-site presence at a Canadian Blood Services location. The role is designed to adapt to operational needs while ensuring effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for employee brand ambassadors, fostering engagement and advocacy across various departments.
  • Create compelling content and presentations that equip brand ambassadors with the necessary tools to effectively represent our brand.
  • Support the formulation and execution of brand strategies that enhance awareness and understanding of Canadian Blood Services.
  • Serve as a brand subject matter expert, providing guidance on brand application to internal teams and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to promote brand integrity and consistency throughout the organization.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of branded materials, ensuring alignment with corporate identity and messaging.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the overall mission of the organization.

Qualifications

  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, or communications.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in handling complex projects and budgets.
  • Solid understanding of brand management principles and employee engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of effective team leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and resourcefulness.

Expectations
This role requires a commitment to working in a hybrid model, with a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility to travel for team meetings may be necessary.
