About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Develop and prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including reviewing plans, specifications, and site conditions.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and provide regular updates on estimate progress.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of estimators, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Bid Strategy Development: Develop and implement bid strategies for construction projects, including identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Estimate Review and Approval: Review and approve estimates for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that they meet company standards and client requirements.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong background in building construction.
  • Estimating Skills: Proven estimating skills, with the ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and site conditions.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of estimators.
  • Market Analysis: Ability to conduct market analysis and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Bid Strategy Development: Ability to develop and implement bid strategies for construction projects.
