Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Etro Construction Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing pre-qualification submissions, and reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects.
  • Pre-qualification Submissions: Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Computer Software: Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Estimate Reports: Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, and provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.
  • Contract Management: Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, and prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, and proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems.
