Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at IJW Recruitment Solutions Inc. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a dump truck and performing various tasks related to the transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dump truck safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
Work Environment:
  • Dusty work site environment
  • Various locations
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
