Job Summary

Serenity MG Properties Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products. This is a physically demanding role that requires manual dexterity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, and bulldozers to perform tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials and products.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
  • Drive and operate air-track or other drilling machines to bore large blast holes to specified depths at staked positions in open-pit mine or quarry.
  • Operate drilling machines to drill blast holes in rock at road or other construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in tasks and priorities.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects are required.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 32 hours per week.
