About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our team at ALPA EQUIPMENT LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation up to date, including records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless equipment maintenance and repair operations.
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Powered equipment repair specialization, including hydraulic-operated working attachments.
  • Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check, driving record check, and driver's validity license check.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including cross-border and international travel.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, and other personal protective equipment as required.
