Hydrogeologist - Environmental Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Hydrogeologist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Environmental Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations for our Hydrogeology Group.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive hydrogeological assessments, dewatering assessments, surface water assessments, and water supply studies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement market strategies to drive growth in the Hydrogeology Group, in collaboration with existing leadership and management.
- Supervise and coordinate field activities associated with hydrogeological assessments, surface water assessments, water supply studies, and Permits To Take Water.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on hydrogeological practices and processes.
- Proven understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, including the Ontario Water Resources Act and Environmental Protection Act.
- Knowledge of construction dewatering, groundwater and surface water interactions, and soil and bedrock classification.
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Aquifer Test is an asset.
- Regular travel to project sites is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, Earth Sciences, or Water Resources Engineering (or equivalent).
- Member in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario, with P. Eng. designation, or the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, with P. Geo. designation.
