Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Castlemore Homes. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by the site supervisor.
  • Assist Medical Examiner: Provide assistance to the medical examiner as required.
  • Pave and Rake Asphalt: Pave and rake asphalt as directed by the site supervisor.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials as required.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants as required.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site.
  • Tend or Feed Machines: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction as required.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near the construction site as required.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with bobcats, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, drills, and sledgehammers is an asset.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: The successful candidate must be able to work in a dusty environment and be comfortable working outdoors and underground.
