Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Castlemore Homes. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
- Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
- Assist Medical Examiner: Provide assistance to the medical examiner as needed.
- Pave and Rake Asphalt: Pave and rake asphalt as required.
- Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
- Clean Up Chemical Spills: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on the construction site.
- Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site.
- Tend or Feed Machines: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
- Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near the construction site as required.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with equipment such as bobcats, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, drills, and sledgehammers.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available to and from the construction site.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding tasks, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, and handling heavy loads.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
- Green Job: This job involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
