The Chef Mom is a dynamic organization that values innovation and excellence in all aspects of our operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Vice President to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Job Summary

The Operations Vice President will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of our organizational policies and programs. This role will require strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives, including setting goals and objectives for the organization and formulating or approving policies and programs.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to senior staff and middle managers, delegating authority and creating optimum working conditions.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Performance Management: Supervise and manage the performance of 5-10 people, providing coaching and development opportunities as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership or management role
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Windows.
Work Environment

The Operations Vice President will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a large workload and prioritize tasks effectively.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

The Operations Vice President will be responsible for recruiting and supporting newcomers and refugees, providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Youths and Indigenous People

The Operations Vice President will also be responsible for offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth and Indigenous workers.
