TOTEM recruteur de talent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations and Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team. This crucial role will provide essential support to the Operations Supervisor and contribute significantly to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless administrative operations within the organization.
  • Manage real estate-related service requests and maintain adequate inventory of shipping supplies and security products.
  • Coordinate receptions and shipments in collaboration with the operations team, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of four individuals, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Supervisor to identify potential vendors and effectively manage staff performance.
  • Actively contribute to various unit-related projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Coordinate real estate operations and logistics in conjunction with the Central Laboratory, including planning and preparing shipping materials and managing inventory levels.
  • Oversee building-related tasks, such as equipment installation, relocation, or removal, adhering to established policies and operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or college degree with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a similar role, including at least 5 years in project and personnel coordination within real estate management or reception and shipping services.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical sector and/or Contract Research Organization (CRO) is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is preferred for effective communication with resources outside Quebec.
  • Demonstrated dynamism, interpersonal skills, active listening abilities, autonomy, initiative, creativity, flexibility, organizational skills, analytical and synthetic thinking, problem-solving capabilities, excellent time and priority management, proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
