About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Designer and Contract Administrator to join our team at Interior Dams. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for managing 1-3 people and overseeing the project management of heavy civil projects, including design, tendering, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and delegate the drawing of heavy civil construction drawings using Civil 3D
  • Prepare tendering documents with MMCD and/or CCDC
  • Conduct resident engineering and contract administration services
  • Manage in-field geotechnical testing and quality assurance/control work
  • Provide civil engineering design support and design for water resource and earthworks projects
Requirements
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and independent with contract administration experience
  • Demonstrated on-site civil construction or resident engineering experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Civil3D and basic proficiency in GIS software
  • Understanding of geotechnical, hydrological, and fluid dynamics principles

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $45-65/hr, vehicle and travel allowance, and company benefit plans.
