We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising staff and ensuring that all employees are meeting their job expectations.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels and sales.
  • Ensure that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of menus and promotions.
  • Monitor and control labor costs and ensure that all staff are working efficiently.
  • Assist with the management of cash handling and banking procedures.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the restaurant is compliant with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, and permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week, English language, and Anglais language of work.
