Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #203. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of sales staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign Duties: Assign sales staff to various duties, including sales floor coverage, customer service, and visual merchandising.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and maintenance of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that inventory is accurately recorded.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Manage Cash: Manage cash handling and reconciliation, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and that cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.

Work Environment

As a Sales Team Lead at Shoppers Drug Mart #203, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
