Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #203. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of sales staff, assigning duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
  • Assign Duties: Assign sales staff to various duties, including sales floor coverage, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit and train new sales staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
  • Order and Manage Inventory: Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the right products on the sales floor.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring we have the right products on the sales floor.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Cash: Manage cash handling and ensure that all sales transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
Work Environment

As a Sales Team Lead at Shoppers Drug Mart #203, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
