About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Server Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their dining experience.
- Work closely with our servers to ensure seamless service, delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and clearing tables.
- Have a thorough knowledge of our menu and be able to describe food items to guests, as well as answer any questions they may have.
- Monitor the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure that all tables are set according to our high standards.
- Participate in opening and closing side work, including setting up and breaking down displays and side stations.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products, including wine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
