Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including daily specials, and be able to describe them to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, answering questions and making recommendations as needed.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Wine and Beverage Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of wine and other beverages, and be able to make recommendations to customers.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tables and orders simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Environment: Our pub is a fast-paced environment with overtime required at times.
