Job Title: Transportation Logistics Manager

Olympia Transportation Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from our warehouses to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, as well as the setting of transportation service rates and monitoring revenue.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
